The Citizens’ Committee for Flood Relief (CCFR) in De Soto, Missouri, was founded in 2016 after severe and repeated flooding devastated the town. The group works to protect the community from future disasters. They’ve helped create a flood warning system, pushed for safer building rules, and secured funding for green spaces that soak up floodwater. CCFR brings together local leaders, government agencies, and residents to find practical, natural ways to keep people safe. Anthony Meyers is a wedding and portrait photographer. With over 20 years of leadership experience, he combines artistic vision with a strategic approach to storytelling and client engagement.
